In Masterful Living 2012 we’re talking about working in the invisible vs working in the visible. What does that actually mean?
Most spiritual teachings tell us that our thoughts are creating our experience. Thought combined with belief (faith) is a powerful tool of creation. We can use our faith positively or negatively. Look at your life, take stock of what’s working and what’s not and you’ll be able to see the results of your thinking. You’re always working in the invisible with your thought and beliefs. Be willing to take stock. Be willing to become masterful.
Worry is a negative use of faith. It’s a belief in two powers. Whether you’re thinking and believing thoughts of Love or of fear, your beliefs and thoughts are always creating the quality of your experience. Like does attract like. We’ve all come to realize how important it is for us to keep our focus on that which we’d like to experience rather than what we don’t want. And most of fall down every single day. And so it’s about the quality of your getting up when you fall down. Do you pick yourself up with courage and commitment, Love and compassion? Or do you berate yourself and get discouraged?
It’s really challenging! For many of us, we’re learning a whole new way of thinking. We’re breaking the patterns of our parents and ancestors!
And still maybe you forget and keep worrying anyway. Maybe you forget and keep collecting evidence to support your worries. All that worry and fear, the doubt and despair is creating your experience too. The good news is that your choice for Love is so much more powerful than the thought of fear.
It takes real focus to keep our attention on Love and being loving and it is so worth it. We really can undo a lifetime of negative thinking and open our hearts to Love right now. I experience it happening all the time in my life and all around me. It’s extraordinary and it’s beautiful. I love that we’re doing it together.
What it takes is a willingness to claim responsibility for your thoughts and choices. This can seem impossible. However, when you’re in a group of like-minded spiritual seekers and finders, where there’s consistent loving support and everybody practices non-judgment, healing happens at record speed! This is what I’m seeing in Masterful Living 2012.
