It’s easy to understand that your attitude determines your experience of your life. An attitude can even change the actual unfolding of the events in your life. If you bring to your days an attitude of gratitude, the people you come in contact with will recognize that you have brought your own joy to the circumstance. With an attitude of gratitude in your back pocket then you are giving something in every moment. You’re sharing the good.

When others see that your attitude is not dependent upon what is happening in this moment, they are inspired and motivated – sometimes it’s even a healing experience to be with you.

I find that when I walk in an attitude of gratitude folks are relieved that they don’t have to worry how I will react. They can see that I am centered, assured and in tune. When I take responsibility for my attitude people around me feel calmer, safer and they are more inclined to treat me with gratitude also. Like attracts like.

I’ve had moments when I chose to be violent and angry and destructive. I learned so much from those choices that now I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I choose the quality of my life by choosing what attitude I want to walk in. Today I live in an attitude of gratitude and watch as more and more reasons to be grateful unfold.

I start every prayer with an attitude of gratitude because I have learned that it immediately shifts my vibration into a place of greater receptivity. You too can choose your attitude – you aren’t a victim of circumstance. You are free to choose your attitude. Your attitude is what comes first in your experience. I invite you to anchor your “attitude of gratitude” before you get out of bed in the morning and feel the difference it makes in your day.

I choose an attitude of gratitude.
