Isn’t it wonderful that there are so many things we can choose to give thanks for.
I find that every day, there are …
so many things I am thankful for. I give thanks for the blessings that surround me naturally: the beauty of the sky, the weather, trees and birds. I give thanks for my health even if it has been better. I give thanks for the ability to walk, talk, see, hear, touch and feel. I give thanks for the ability to love. I even give thanks for my limitations because they teach me so much. I give thanks for the blessings that are headed my way.
Ernest Holmes, the founder of Science of Mind, wrote, “… there is something in this attitude of thanksgiving that carries us beyond the field of doubt into one of perfect faith and acceptance, receptivity … realization. Appreciation, gratitude and thanksgiving–the motive power which attracts and magnifies the hidden potentialities of life.”
On this day of national Thanksgiving, I’m elated that so many are joining in the spiritual practice that is so profoundly healing and uplifting – Love & Gratitude.
