There are so many ways to feel “special” and feeling sorry for yourself is a favorite for many people. There’s something about it that appeals, and when I look back on my attraction to feeling sorry for myself, it was all about feeling “special.”

For me, it’s as if I felt that even though things weren’t gong well and I was miserable about it, at least I could feel that there was something “tragic” about my situation. My pain and suffering made me “special.” That specialness is a kind of identity – of course, it’s a FALSE identity, but at least it’s something.

When I wasn’t willing to be authentic and discover my TRUE identity, I settled for a false one.

I’m not willing to settle anymore. Those days are O-V-E-R.

It’s time for our spiritual renewal. Spring is springing, I’m clearing the clutter and taking out the trash – starting with the inside! I remember when it felt like I had an inner trash heap. I had no idea that it was possible to take out the inner trash!

Now, this is the focus of my life – sharing what I’ve learned about clearing the spiritual clutter so we can all be authentic and live in our true identity! Yes!

Affirmation:

I AM willing to clear the clutter and take out the trash!
