To live life fully–this is something most of us would like to experience. Still, so much of the time we shy away from the fullness of life. We turn away from that which would give us that sense of fullness for fear that it will cost too much–be it a relationship, a volunteer position, a hobby, a job.
Yet, the yearning to throw myself into life with a passion and a desire, to give to life all that I have, to live with inspiration and shine brilliantly from my own natural luminosity doesn’t subside. Those longings didn’t dissipate as long as I was blocking them.
It is our spiritual nature to express our magnificence. I believe it is a divine desire. It is the my Holy Self that has no fear and no intention to hold back. My higher nature is to invoke miracles and reveal what’s possible.
As George Bernard Shaw wrote in his play, MAN AND SUPERMAN, “This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world did not to devote itself to making you happy.”
Today instead of making a list of grievances, I encourage you to make a list of your heart’s desires.
My list doesn’t energize needing, wanting, craving or lack – pure loving desire to express God with my life – that’s what I’m talking about!
The simple act of making that list will bring forth and anchor DIVINE desire. Allow yourself ftp get carried away with passionate devotion. I know that my desire is the force of divine Love moving through me. Today in making my list, I give myself over to what the highest and best that can flow through me and I let that inspire me into loving action and motivation.
