Do you find yourself imagining yourself being upset by things that haven’t even happened? I used to do that. Ernest Holmes, the great mystic who wrote “The Science of the Mind” says that “worry is the negative use of your imagination.” It’s so true!
Imagining or fantasizing that I would be upset in the future by something that hadn’t even happened was a habit that I put a lot of energy into for a lot of years. I honestly felt a kind of comfort in imagining myself being a victim and feeling the righteous anger that went with that.
That mental habit took a lot of time and energy that kept me in a place of fear and distress. It certainly didn’t help me bring more Beauty and Love into my experience.
We can stop these mental habits by doing a 180 turn.
For instance, if you notice your mind is worried, start to be grateful. Actively give thanks for what already IS in your life and you’ll be turning the channel, changing the frequency and interrupting that pattern.
Interrupting the patterns of fear is the fastest path to healing them!
If you notice you’re thinking thoughts of shame or revenge, interrupt that pattern by consciously sending Love to someone and being grateful that you remembered to interrupt the pattern.
These little shifts cost you nothing and give you your POWER back!
It does take willingness, attention and a little bit of time – but it brings your POWER back! Isn’t that worth it? Go for it!
Trade your negative habits for one of Love and Praise and watch your world get a whole lot more Beautiful!
