Sometimes spiritual students feel like this waking up, spiritual progress path is complicated. I remember feeling like it was SUCH a mystery. I was studying spiritual teachings for ten, fifteen years and still feeling like it was incomprehensible. One minute I thought I was getting there and the next minute I was deeply suffering and feeling lost. It felt like an impossibly difficult path.
As I repeatedly say, the thing that changed everything for me was my willingness to fully commit to being loving.
In each moment the simplicity of Love makes it possible for us to make the most beneficial choice if we’re truly interested.
If we make an unloving choice in one moment then the very next moment contains an opportunity to choose again and to choose compassion for the unloving choice made in the previous moment.
It’s important to keep looking forward while being present to the most loving choice that is presenting itself now. Our willingness makes it possible for us to see.
Love is patient,
Love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil,
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects,
Love never fails. Corinthians 13:4-8
Keeping it simple,
focused on Love,
we cannot fail.
Are you willing to stop learning from failing? I AM!
We’re waking up together and I’m so grateful for that! If you’re finding what I’m sharing to be helpful won’t you please share at Facebook and twitter to let others know? Thank you!
