One of the major fears that SO many people have is that they think that they’re evil, deep down. Or they think they’re just bad. A bad seed. This belief is SO common.
Many people walk around feeling ashamed of themselves because they really do believe there’s a dark, evil, badness that’s inherent in their nature.
I sense that’s why so many like stories about people act out in evil ways – stories about serial killers and folks who ruthless, greedy and self-centered. In some ways we’re horrified to watch and in some ways we can relate.
The thing is, even if we act mean, uncaring and unkind, we’re just not evil. The behavior might be destructive, but the spirit is still innocent. That may be hard to accept, but that doesn’t mean it’s not true.
I invite you to notice whether or not you like thinking you’re bad.
Many people like to think that they’re so special because they’re so messed up.
Healing these false beliefs is a major part of what my Masterful Living Course is all about. There’s such a joy that breaks out when people are practicing releasing the shame and the fear together and encouraging each other.
I’m offering a new free class on Thursday – it’s part of my Masterful Living Course preview class series and you can register now: Living Without Fear – Cracking the Code of Spiritual Success. This is a live coaching call – Click now to register for this class and get the download immediately!
