Sometimes it seems that there’s hardly a day that goes by that we don’t experience someone acting in a way that seems to cry out for condemnation when what is really needed is compassion. Love is the healer and compassion is loving understanding.

There have been times in my life when I behaved obnoxiously and unkindly and a little compassion would have helped me so much. It would have completely turned things around for me. In the times I felt others were judging me and attacking me, I only escalated my behavior.

If you ever find yourself giving advice to others, judging them and telling them what they “should” do, you’ll probably also notice them pushing back from you, becoming argumentative and defensive. They’re rejecting your judgment.

No one needs our judgment. Everyone deserves compassion.

Compassion can turn someone’s behavior from monstrous to apologetic. Compassion IS an expression of Love and Love is always the healer. Always. There is no other healer that has a lasting effect.

Love is our healer because Love is our true identity. Love brings us back to our true Self, our Higher Holy Spirit Self. Judgment is an incitement to the ego.

Next time you feel like telling someone what they should do, see if you can begin to train yourself to have compassion. When your heart opens, you’ll realize that instead of judging them you can see them correctly. You can see the Christ in them – their perfection and wholeness – and that’s what Love does.

Love opens your vision so you can see correctly – and then you too are healed, Christ is risen in your heart.

Every day offers us amazing blessings – all that’s required is our willingness.

Cultivating a willingness to live from the heart seems hard at first, but then it becomes so much easier than arguing with the ego all day long! What a relief compassion brings!

We’re waking up together and I’m so grateful for that! If you’re finding what I’m sharing to be helpful won’t you please share at facebook and twitter to let others know? Thank you!
