Our thought is so powerful. It’s the power of LOVE in us. One of the easiest ways to prove it to our self is to start thinking that something is hard or impossible to do. That thought has stopped a lot of people from living the life they deeply desire.
Sometimes we get into a groove of thinking that something is difficult when it’s actually not. We think it’s difficult when it’s unfamiliar. The ego either is afraid of moving into unfamiliar territory and so resists and stays reluctant – or is constantly seeking something new as a distraction. Can you feel that?
We started Day 1 with giving up sugar – and for a lot of people they thought “that’s going to be impossible!” Or at the least, they thought it would be hard and really unpleasant. Many have been surprised and delighted to realize it was easier than they thought and the benefits have been magnificent:
Higher serotonin levels
and more! Please share what you feel about shifting from thinking it would be really hard to feeling that you like what you’re experiencing and maybe it’s not hard or impossible after all! So far the sharing in our facebook group has been inspired!
Now, some people have felt really triggered. Some are experiencing intense cravings or did experience them and they’ve faded away.
The valuable practice is to notice now is how have you been holding things in your mind? Where did you start from and where are you now? Have you been able to let go of the thought that it has to be hard, difficult, excruciating?
Does temporarily abstaining things feel like an adventure of discovery or does it feel like punishment?
Are you willing to change your mind about it? If so, what is the way to hold it in your mind that is the most helpful to you right now?
I have consistently found that giving the heavy lifting to the Higher Holy Self is the most effective and easiest way to go. Of course, you won’t trust it until you DO trust it. You have to trust Spirit BEFORE the healing happens. Trust is the best investment when it comes to changing your life. We don’t trust the ego/personality – we trust the Higher Holy Self – BIG difference.
So, if you’re really interested in having a breakthrough, give this a go: Make a list of the diet / self-care issues you’d like to change and then rate them on a scale of 1 to 100 on how difficult you believe they are to change. Now, pick one that you feel you’d like to work on. Decide to go for it. Make a list of what you believe about that one habit.
Next, start to consider this: are your thoughts actually true? Here’s how you know – what’s true is true for everyone. It’s true for all of us. Otherwise it’s a perception, a belief, an experience, or an appearance.
Here’s an example: If you thought you might have a tough time giving up bread, maybe you thought “that’s impossible. It’s just too hard.” A lot of people would feel that way, but not everyone, therefore it’s not true, it’s just a belief. If you’re willing to give the belief to the Higher Holy Self for healing, then you’re on your way. The willingness is the game-changer. The more willing you are, the more likely you are to sail through your healing experience!
In my classes, as in 40 day reboot Pray & Clear program, we focus on changing our mind and our belief system because then we’re healing it at the root cause. It’s such a relief to have a real healing – and that always takes place at the level of the mind. The experience of releasing the false belief that’s the root cause of suffering is so empowering because it becomes the way we realize that we DO have the power to make a real and lasting change.
Being mindful about whether or not our beliefs are true is a powerful, life-changing spiritual practice!
Spiritual practice SAVES time that would otherwise be spent in suffering.
Invest in spiritual practice rather than in suffering.
The more you let go of the false beliefs the more empowered you feel because you begin to experience miraculous healing. As you cleanse and detox your mind of the false, your body begins to feel lighter and stronger. It’s wonderful to discover for yourself that:
Nothing tastes as good as Joy feels!
On the cleanse side of life: In Day 25 we were looking at water, and specifically how water has memory. In the movie I shared Water: The Great Mystery, it talks about new water, versus old water, and blessed water. I’ve realized that my body definitely responds better to spring water that has been blessed. I think it would be fun to experiment with a taste test and take two bottles of identical water, bless them both and then ask someone to sample them and tell you which one tastes better! Also, if you live near a river, lake or ocean, bless that water! I love to swim in the ocean and bless it with the Ho’oponopono prayer (I’m sorry, please forgive me, than you, I love you) The water carries the blessing all over the world. You can also learn to pray when you pee! Bless the water!
I take my water and say “thank you, I Love you” to it before I drink it. I also put a large glass of water by my bed each night and then ask the angels to turn it into the perfect blessed water while I sleep. I learned this from my teacher Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo and she teaches a beautiful healing water practice. In the morning, I wake up, make prayers, use the restroom, brush my teeth (to cleanse and purify my mouth after a night of detoxing through my breath) and then drink that blessed water! Please share your discoveries in our facebook group!
If you’re finding what I’m sharing to be helpful won’t you please share at facebook and twitter to let others know? Thank you!
