Have you noticed the energies shifting? The change of season is happening and the invisible field of energy has made a big opening to support us! Everything is aligning for us to feel more supported, held and carried in our spiritual awakening. Of course, if you’re experiencing a lot of resistance and reluctance to shift and change, you may still be feeling an intense amount of pressure to give up what no longer serves.

Whether we like it or not, there’s no way around it, now is the time for us to give up what doesn’t serve and to get with the awakening program. If we’re not actively, gratefully accepting it, it will feel like pressure, pushing and prodding us.

Today we have a full moon on the solstice! This is a powerful alignment that supports our goal of awakening. Enjoy the energy boosts and make plans to do extra spiritual practice today!

I thought I’d share with you a really simple and, for me, powerful and healing ceremony you can do on your own or with friends. Do it today or tomorrow while we’re still in this full moon energy.

The beginning of the summer is the perfect time to do a full moon wisdom harvest. Full moon represents the time to harvest the learning we’ve had and be grateful for it. We can also harvest the learning we’ve rejected. Anything we’ve been holding in resentment, regret, hurt, blame or shame can be brought to a harvest of the learning through our willingness. It may seem crazy, but the mental/emotional shift that turns the tide of upset is to be grateful for things as they are. Our gratitude raises our vibration so that we can see, hear, feel and know more clearly the learning and benefit that’s encoded into every single thing in our lives.

When we’re actively harvesting the learning from our experiences then we don’t have to repeat them! It’s just like when we learn how to do anything, we don’t have to keep repeating it once you get it. When we keep having the same repeat experiences then it’s a sure sign we’re rejecting the learning and believing that the meaning we’ve made of things – our interpretations – are correct. If we’re still upset about something that happened, we’re not correct. The upset is the Divine Alarm Clock going off to let us know that our thinking is incorrect and can be corrected. It’s that old “would you rather be right or happy?” It’s your life, you choose.

Full moon is also for releasing what is no longer desired and what no longer serves. To me, it’s about purification. It’s about celebrating that I can let go of the burdens, the negative patterns and suffering of the past.

Full moon is also a fun time to have a ceremony. I’m planning to go for a full moon swim tonight and release everything I don’t need while doing Ho’oponopono in the Aegean Sea here in Greece.

Right now, when so much changing is going on – a ceremony can be something helpful to shift the energy and welcome the healing changes! Gather loved ones, friends and family to make it a Harvest & Release celebration!

I always begin with being clear about why I’m doing what I’m doing.

I appreciate starting with setting of intention.
I intend to release what doesn’t serve me.

Light a white candle
Have a glass of water.
You can consecrate your space with offerings of smudge and prayer.

It’s powerful to write out what no longer serves and is being released. If you have friends with you, you may wish to share what you’ve written specifically or generally. No pressure on that. Make it a safe space.

It’s nice to have a fire to place the offerings of what you’ve written in – a fire puja is always lovely – offering prayers to the fire as well as any writing – release it all! You can do that in a backyard fire pit, fireplace or a burning bowl. I love that part!

Open your heart to what you’d like to call into your life. Set your intention for expansion and clarity, purity and joy – what you’d like to experience this season! I always focus on how I’d like to feel and am careful not to get attached to how things show up in form. Focus on what the feeling is.

More prayer, chanting, dancing, having a meal – these are all wonderful. Dance to celebrate your willingness to have a healing!

If you’re finding what I’m sharing to be helpful won’t you please share at facebook and twitter to let others know? Thank you!
