Yesterday, I wrote about infinite patience. Cultivating infinite patience has been a powerful and life-changing spiritual practice for me. I’m not always successful, but I’ve become more successful every day.
How appropriate is it then that I had a day of my computer running extremely slow. All day long, I was waiting for my computer to catch up with me. I had at least 100 opportunities to cultivate a greater patience and a greater willingness.
The more the day went along, the slower my computer got. I finally got on the phone with tech support. After two hours of troubleshooting and having no change, no success, I finally said, with patience, I’m taking a break.
My computer is going to take a time out at the at the Genius Bar today. It’s old and maybe, it needs to be put out to pasture.
There really is a gift encoded into every moment if we are willing to accept it. that’s a wonderful thing. It’s not a burden. And it’s not torture. It’s an extraordinary opportunity. It’s Divine Grace. I’m so glad I don’t feel angry. I’m so grateful I feel peaceful.
Practice with me today, and rejoice at every opportunity to practice infinite patience. Together we rise in Love.
Cultivating more Freedom is what my Spring retreat is all about. It’s a little over one month from now. Come join me and let’s clear out some clutter from our heart and our mind together!
