I remember when I first got the idea for Living A Course in Miracles as a class series.  I was sitting in meditation when the whole concept, came to me as a fully orbed idea, placed in my awareness by the Infinite.  I could feel the power of it and I wished to be a part of it.

At the time, I had no idea how it could ever come into being, but I decided to start working on it and it became like a puzzle we were putting together one piece at a time.

The first time I  did the Living A Course in Miracles series, it cost me personally about $35,000 that I absolutely didn’t have.  I was in debt already and I decided to go even deeper into debt and follow my intuition.  It was a complete leap of faith for me.  I knew I was making the right decision.

As it turned out, because we were selling the downloads and CD’s back then, we were able to recoup all but about $5,000 through the sales.

Even bigger than the financial investment, the time and energy investment was extraordinary.  I had a few months where I worked tirelessly putting all the pieces together.  It took so much work to do the first Living A Course in Miracles series – I worked 60 hours a week for months.  So many late nights!

At the time, I said, it’s a good thing that when I said yes to Spirit’s idea, I had no idea how much work would be involved because had I even a clue, I would have hesitated and maybe even said no.  A lot of things are like that.

Spirit shows us the vision of something beautiful and that inspires us to make the leap.  If we knew ahead of time what we’d have to do and heal, and agree to in order to fulfill the vision, we might just say, “Thanks, but no thanks. I’ll play it safe.”

It was totally worth it. I’m grateful and glad I said yes!

Putting on Living A Course in Miracles is still a lot of work.  I’m truly grateful that now we can offer all the downloads of the classes, audio and transcript for free to people in over 100 countries!  We can do that because of all of the people who contribute to make it possible.  Thank you!
