I get to have the most wonderful conversations with the beautiful souls in my year-long Masterful Living class. It’s such a joy to be able to meet with the participants one on one and share the review of the year together. I love it! One thing someone said is so familiar to me – it’s that simply dropping the judgments and being open heart is such a relief.
This person said to me “I was very controlling and over-reacting – thinking I knew how everything should be, but I didn’t know. Now, I can be compassionate instead of judging and thinking I know what’s best – it’s such a relief.”
Sound familiar? Can you relate? I sure can! It IS such a relief to let the judgments go. They are such a block to Love, intimacy, Joy, Freedom, Abundance, Wholeness, Harmony, and so much more.
It’s always perfect time for us to choose to let the judgements go! The holidays afford us so many opportunities to do deep healing work. Old patterns of negativity and upset get triggered so easily when things are stressful. And let’s face it, for many, this time of year is VERY stressful.
One thing that can help keep the Love flowing is to simply be mindful. We can be mindful of purifying egotistical ideas of perfection from our mind. Instead, let us be accepting, non-judgmental, allowing ourselves to stay in our loving heart. It’s a deeply transformative practice. The rewards are more than it’s even possible for us to comprehend. It seems too easy to bring so much benefit, but I assure you it’s worth every bit of energy you can focus into it. The rewards are beyond measure! It seems hard to practice, but it’s not – it just requires willingness.
This year, let’s have REAL relief from the pain in our family relationships. I’ve seen so many people in my Masterful Living Course transform and heal their family relationships in the most miraculous ways. They blow my hair back with the shifts and changes that they bring forth through using the tools and practices we share in the class.
So often, we want relief from the suffering, but we think that changing our circumstances will be the thing that brings relief. It’s not. The relief comes from moving into our heart, dropping the judgments, and being compassionate with ourselves and others.
Our willingness is valuable! We’re purifying our mind of the thoughts that cause our suffering! How wonderful is that?
