I love looking words up in the dictionary. Words are a power tool and I like to use them correctly and with intention. I also love elegance. It’s a quality of life that feels nourishing to me. According to Webster’s Dictionary, elegance means refined grace. I love the idea of being someone who walks in a space of refined grace.

I’m interested in cultivating an elegant approach to life. I’m interested in being one who is always invoking divine grace to be my teacher and my healer, my constant companion. There’s no extra charge to invoke grace at any moment of the day and so I choose to be elegant in my choices. Making elegant choices means making my decisions based on the wisdom I have come to know during the journey thus far. This is in contrast to making choices from my opinions and judgments.

There’s a an opportunity to allow divine elegance and grace to move in, through and around me in each given moment. I am the one to activate it and call it forth in order to experience it. My intention is to release any habit of waiting for someone else to do what is mine to do in my own life. My commitment is to become alert to the opportunity to choose to be elegant – to operate in my life with refined grace.

Learning to pause, and give Spirit a chance to guide me, opens my life to the constant grace of God. There is a natural elegance to our lives and we can find it through returning to Spirit when we’ve drifted. Yes, it can feel exhausting to practice this, but I’ve found that it gets easier and easier. The grace actually takes over.

Today I decide to actively cultivate the graceful choices which bring more beauty, more love, more honor, more excellence. I may not be sure of the outcome of my choices, but at least I can be sure of their intention. By choosing consciously I raise the vibration of my practice of nonviolence and in so doing I move the world in a direction of peace and elegance. How wonderful!

TEACHING RETREATS – I’m anticipating having a location for us soon and dates as well. As soon as I know those basics I’ll make an announcement. My intention is to be able to offer these trainings in August. Stay tuned!
