We’re giving up that which is no longer valuable!

One of the reasons why I have found the A Development of Trust section in the A Course in Miracles Manual for Teachers so helpful is that it helps us to understand that it’s no sacrifice to give up the things that are causing our suffering.

The more we travel down this road of healing the mind and opening the heart the easier it is to see what is valuable and what is not. The things, the relationships, the attitudes and the beliefs that are not helpful become less and less valuable and then it’s easy to set them aside.

We’re one with each other eternally, so we really cannot end our relationships. There is no sacrifice there. And it is definitely helpful and self-loving to spend less time with people when it triggers us to the point that we lose our spiritual sovereignty.

All of my relationships have shifted and changed. Those that were predicated on ego needing, wanting, craving and false beliefs fell away and those that have been transformed to holy are so enriching. Who wouldn’t wish for that?

Relationships without a lot of stress are possible. That’s the very nature of a holy relationship.

We can learn to be wise by giving up the thoughts and beliefs that cause us to act in ways that aren’t very loving. Being loving, from the heart, without conditions is always wise. It brings a steady stream of insight, Clarity, Wisdom, and right action. Who wouldn’t wish for that?

I don’t waste a lot of time on nonsense anymore. What a relief!

Giving up that which isn’t inspired by Love brings more Love. That build self-esteem, and self-confidence. Who wouldn’t wish for that?

There is no sacrifice in living in service to the Light. It’s just the opposite. Everything of value is given to us with ease and grace.

When we live a life of Love, true friends are always there, visible and invisible.

Let’s give up the idea of sacrifice and start surrendering that which doesn’t serve. Let’s lay it on the altar and start focusing on how we can extend Love and compassion!
