People work so hard to make other people happy, but happiness is an inside job. We can work and work at it, but we can’t make other people happy. They have to give that gift to themselves.
We can have momentary happiness when someone gives us a gift or gives us a compliment, but it doesn’t last. There is no lasting happiness without Self-Love. How could there be?
How could we ever truly be happy if we don’t love ourselves?
It doesn’t make sense that it could be possible.
We know that Love is what we are.
When we’re unloving to ourselves, we’re polluting our environment and eliminating any chance of happiness.
We look for happiness outside ourselves, in other people, in the world, in special relationships, and yet we’re looking for happiness in all the wrong places and faces. Without Self-Love, happiness can’t be happening.
The good news is that we can learn to let go of the habits that hurt us. We can shift our consciousness and have tremendous and miraculous healing. I see it all the time in our Masterful Living classes.
The more we love ourselves, the more healing we have. And it brings benefits to all.
When we don’t love ourselves, we attract people who will seem to take advantage of us and abuse us.
We can blame them for it, but we’re the ones who gave them access and permission.
That’s why Self-forgiveness is the key to unlocking Self-Love. If you haven’t done it, consider getting my How to Get Over It free workshop. When you do the work, you’ll be so glad for the Freedom in your mind!
