Now, more than ever, it’s so important to break the patterns of painful relationships and take a stand for Love. When we’re loving with others, we’re having a healing.
It may seem insane, but when we can Love our brother, we are loving ourselves, because we’re one with them.
One of the pain patterns that many people have is a lot like a see-saw or a pendulum.
For instance, let’s say you have an experience with a loved one where they disappoint you. The first thought you might have is: “they’re bad, wrong, out of integrity, unloving, inexcusable” or some other complaint.
Then, the next thought we have is the pendulum swinging back when we think “I must be bad, wrong, unworthy, unlovable, inappropriate.” What goes around comes around with a slap in the head. Yikes!
First there’s an attack thought, then a lack thought and the mind bounces back and forth between them.
The belief in lack actually proceeds the attack thought, but sometimes we notice the attack thought first before the lack thought. We each have our own unique way of subscribing to this particularly pervasive pattern of dysfunction and suffering.
It doesn’t matter which thought came first.
If we believe in lack, then we’ll feel attacked.
We’ll feel unworthy.
If we feel attacked then we’re justified in attacking back.
If we attack others then we feel guilty and ashamed.
And so it goes, the hamster wheel of misery.
The only thing that matters is HOW TO GET OFF the painful train of thought – get off the pain train.
A willingness to listen to Divine Guidance is the key to getting off the pain train.
It makes the healing SO MUCH faster. It’s beautiful and miraculous how much healing we can have when we’re willing!
Do you feel like you’re not getting guidance about when to let go of the pain train? Judgments block our perception of inspiration, intuition and divine guidance. Interrupt the patterns of pain and you’ll have more clarity about your intuition.
It may take a little while, but it’s worth every effort you can put into it. Now more than ever, let us be at Peace!
Be willing to go first. Sing that great song by Vince Gill
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me
Let There Be Peace on Earth
The peace that was meant to be
With God as our Father
Brothers all are we
Let us walk with each other
In perfect harmony.
Let peace begin with me
Let this be the moment now.
With ev’ry step I take
Let this be my joyous vow
To take each moment and live
Each moment in peace eternally
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me!
When there’s an argument in your home, decide to go first and offer the olive branch of Peace.
Enjoy and savor the moment where you let go of your grievance and choose perfect Love.
You are perfect. Perfect Love!
