Yesterday’s Sunday with Spirit service was a hit! Thank you to all who attended and let me know that you enjoyed it. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
One of the things I asked the group about was to find out who was sheltering at home alone and we had a huge number of people who said yes to that. I’ve been home alone for a month and I’ve had so much extra work and extra classes as well as extra meetings that I have felt like I’m with people much of the time.
Lots of people are lonely in the best of times, but now there are lots of folks who are really challenged to manage by themselves. It’s one of the things we talked about yesterday.
Whether we’re living alone or not, it’s so valuable to always remember that we’re with Spirit.
In A Course in Miracles, Jesus reminds us that while we can feel alone and lonely, it’s not possible for us to actually BE alone. Only in our imagination can we be alone.
We FEEL alone when we separate ourselves from Spirit. That’s how it is.
“As long as you perceive the body as your reality, so long will you perceive yourself as lonely and deprived.” T-15.XI.5.
It’s our choice. It may not seem like it, but it is our choice.
If you feel alone, invite Spirit to show you that your not.
Ask for a sign. Ask the angels to come and play with you. If we’re willing to be shown a new perspective, we will be.
Pain is a wrong perspective.
The angels love to show us something real, and something beautiful. They are SUCH good company!
Our willingness is ALL that’s required. Just that, and nothing else.
