People are acting crazy right now and it’s SO important that we have compassion for them rather than judge them.
Having compassion for people isn’t just doing them a favor. It’s doing ourselves a favor too.
When we judge other people we will experience a toxic backwash.
Look of it this way: We’re all sharing the same mind. Think of it as a big lake of joined awareness.
If we’re judging someone we’re pouring toxicity into the shared lake of awareness. The spot where we’re pouring in the poison is also the spot we’re drinking from. We will get the first mouthful.
Most of us don’t even realize we’re creating our own upset. We can wake up and smell the spiritual espresso. A Course in Miracles tells us “I’m never upset for the reason I think.”
What does that mean?
I’m not upset because of what someone else did. I’m upset by my thoughts about it.
When I take offense at what someone else does or says, I’m actually just looking for an excuse to attack.
When I defend myself, I’m just looking for a justification for my attack.
What’s the answer?
Hand over all the attack thoughts to the Higher Holy Spirit Self and be done with them. Enough is enough.
War is over if you want it.
It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life, for us, if we choose it.
We are the dreamers of the dream.
