Making the Loving Choice

In my Daily Shot of Spiritual Espresso yesterday Turn the Other Cheek [1] I forgot to mention an important thing about turning the other cheek and offering a new face of Love to someone who seems to be intent on attacking us.  When we offer compassion to someone who seems to be a bully or just mean, then we’re going to feel better about ourselves because we made the loving choice [2].

Every day I ask Spirit to show me the most loving choices, the highest and best choices and I also pray that we’ll all look for them and see them too.

Loving choices are always [3] there.  We do have to look for them.  Sometimes it’s not so obvious.

When I say “look” for them, it’s not with our eyes that we look for the loving choices, we’re looking with our heart.

 Our heart [4] knows.

Sometimes we’re already clear about what we’d like to choose and it’s definitely NOT the loving choice.  I’ve been there many times.

I’ve learned that if I begin each day with setting a strong intention [5] to make the most loving choices and to ALLOW the highest and best to unfold, then it is much more likely to be a day I enjoy and one that brings me benefit.

I used to feel bad about myself a lot.

I can’t recall the last time I felt that way.

Why?

Because I make the loving choices.

LOVE is the healer.  There is no other healer.  Love is it, baby.  It’s all there is.

Set your intention.

Let the day bring you loving choices and decide to choose them.

War is over if you want it.

It’s a new dawn [6], it’s a new day, it’s a new life, for us, if we choose it.

We are the dreamers of the dream.
