I hope that you had a lovely Thanksgiving if you were celebrating. I did. I ate only delicious foods that I made for myself. I decided that I was going to eat whatever I felt like and I did!
In addition to my usual quart of celery juice, I had vegan gluten-free pumpkin spice pancakes with Vermont maple syrup (of course) for brunch.
In the afternoon I made homemade pesto with sprouted pumpkin seeds for dipping my air fries in and a side of broccoli.
Dinner was just dessert – homemade gluten-free pecan pie made with agave instead of corn syrup and monk fruit instead of sugar, vegan butter made from oat milk and whipped cream on top (not vegan, but delicious!).
I had quality time with Bodhi and we walked a lot and of course I did yoga and meditation in the morning, we had time for dancing. I also did some training with her, and some fetch.
I watched three movies and had a long bath while Bodhi napped.
It was all very restful, including talking with two of my BFF’s. SO nice!
It’s such a sweet treat to just do exactly what I feel like doing and feel good about it. I feel blessed and thankful all over again remembering what a lovely day it was.
Every day, I’m learning to be more present to the Presence.
I’m grateful for a good day of spiritual practice.
