Right now, it seems like there are some BIG problems in the world.  They seem to be everywhere.  I don’t need to list them.  We all know what they are.

If we affirm there’s a problem that needs fixing then we’re firmly anchored in the thought that the Divine has disappeared; God has left the building.  The only thing required for a healing is for me to see the situation rightly.  As long as we see a problem it will be there for us to see.  As long as we affirm that things aren’t right we won’t be able to see rightly.

The Infinite has no problems that elude its problem-solving abilities, because there are no problems in Divine Mind.  We’re the ones who see the problem, affirm the problem, identify the problem and collect all the evidence to support the existence of the big, bad problem.

In each of these stages of problem identification we become increasingly convinced that the problem is real and threatening.  It feels more and more like God’s left the building and we need to solve this problem that’s eating our life!

Every problem is built on the often hidden belief that God’s left the building.

It can be very tricky to see that the fear that God is gone is the only problem.

Since the Divine never goes on a vacation or hides it’s Divinity, the whole problem we’re creating a library of evidence to support is, in truth, completely a fabrication of a fearful mind.  It’s all based on the false premise of: “What if I’m separate from God?”

Healing happens when we recognize every challenge has come to help us be more loving, more kind, more compassionate, more in line with our Divine nature.  End of story.

It’s so simple, and yet fear is pervasive unless we stand anchored in the truth of omnipresent Divinity.  This is our job.  This is our only job.

All else we give to the One who has never left and can never leave.  In our surrender we discover that our only prayer request is for the faith to know the Divine in every part of our life.   The Holy Presence cannot leave the building, it IS the building and everything that surrounds it, everything it contains.  God cannot leave me, nor can I leave God.

In gratitude I surrender all problems to my Higher Power.

I am free to live in God’s Grace now and forever.

This is so timely and helpful for today. My mom just received news that the lymphoma she is diagnosed with is rapidly increasing and she has decisions to make. Your blog is helpful for me to see this the right way and share with her. I believe she will find your words comforting. Thank you.
