One of the ways that I see so many people block prosperity in their lives is that being jealous of other people’s prosperity.
If we resent other people’s prosperity, or think they don’t deserve it, we’ll feel more lack in our life.
Why is that? It’s because we’re one with them. We cannot have that which we deny to others. We can only have what we’re willing to share.
A Course in Miracles tells us, “to have give all to all.” When I’m not feeling prosperous it’s because I’m denying the flow of Prosperity in my own heart and mind.
When someone’s experiencing lack and limitation they’re usually consistently focused on lack and limitation. I’ve seen it time and time again – including in my own thoughts. The experience of limitation isn’t a mistake, it doesn’t mean we’re doing something wrong. It’s usually happening because we’re focused on lack and limitation – or on withholding. When we focus on lack, we experience lack. When we withhold from others, it seems like the Universe withholds from us. Simple.
“To have, give all to all.”
Think about it: Some people can generate abundance and flow in their life. Some folks experience a disaster that wipes them out and then they immediately create a whole new flow of abundance starting from scratch. We’ve seen it over and over again. We live in a creative Universe that cannot help but say YES to our creative thoughts. If we’re focused on expressing the flow, we’ll have to experience it. It’s spiritual law.
No matter what we’re thinking, the Universe ALWAYS says, “Yes! Let me show you what that looks and feels like.” Some folks call that the Law of Attraction. I call it the Law of Projection. Every thought we believe is powerful and will produce something in our experience.
The ONLY way to experience more TRUE prosperity is to become devoted to carefully choosing our thoughts – and to be loving. This isn’t easy, it takes willingness, it takes devotion, it takes determination and intention.
And we can do that, right?
We start where we are. We’re the only ones who can change our own minds. We’re the only ones who can choose our thoughts. When we pay attention to our thoughts we see that our life is a projection of what we’re thinking and then we will realize how spectacularly POWERFUL we are! The Divine Mind is always listening, always bringing us the experience of our thoughts.
This isn’t about mindlessly repeating affirmations. Remember: your intention, your belief, and your emotion are key. Begin where you are.
A Course in Miracles warns us, “It is hard to recognize that thought and belief combine into a power surge that can literally move mountains.” Let’s be mindful of our thoughts and beliefs combining in a way that brings suffering.
Let’s focus today on loving ourselves and receiving all the good that the Universe is expressing in our direction. We can be good receivers and count our blessings all day today. We’re training our mind to be appreciative and focus on the good.
We’re taking dominion over our thoughts – if we’d like to have a greater experience of prosperity, we become interested in being a good steward of everything that we have – we Love ourselves in order to live a prosperous life! It’s natural for us to live in the flow of the all good. It’s unnatural for us to block the flow.
The Universe doesn’t punish or reward us, it simply reflects where we are in our heart and mind.
Every thought counts – which can scare us if we’re not willing to start where we are. If we’re willing, it’s exciting to know that each moment contains a precious opportunity for us to begin again!
