Blue Arches

Blue Arches is our family home, built in 1987 by the Hadley family.

It’s a contemporary home in a private oceanfront setting in the desirable Oceanville section of Stonington. Blue Arches is a haven of peace and quiet that has many elegant and artistic touches throughout the home including hardwood cherry flooring and built in cabinetry, tasteful décor and a lovely rose brick fireplace. The grounds around the home are lush and beautifully landscaped with flowers for each season. This is a happy place for making wonderful vacation memories. It feels like a sanctuary.

Blue Arches is a four bedroom, two and a half bath home.

The spacious first floor includes a large, well-equipped kitchen, a glassed-in, formal dining area, an office that can double as a quiet reading nook, and an inviting, stylish living room that is the perfect gathering place for conversations, games and entertaining.

Blue Arches has three first floor bedrooms as well as a laundry room.

The second floor of Blue Arches houses the master suite. This room has a king bed, ocean views, tall ceilings, warm woodwork, and quality furnishings. A large closet and a master bathroom with bidet and jacuzzi complete the suite.

The exterior of Blue Arches provides many great features including a wrap-around deck which connects to a screened-in porch as well as a covered section of porch. This provides the perfect place to sit and enjoy the spectacular sunsets. The yard is large with a beautiful lawn – perfect for yard games or just sitting and enjoying the quiet beauty of this setting. Play bocce ball, badminton or horseshoes with the equipment provided. There are also many perennial flowers all around the grounds providing lovely scents and bouquets for tenants to enjoy. Blue Arches also has a nice spot to launch your kayaks. There is a path off the left hand side of the driveway which provides a clear trail to the launch area.
