We’ll walk, talk, eat and bask in the scenic beauty all around us.
Join me in walking the Camino de Santiago - Portuguese Coastal Route October 2 - 15, 2023
Imagine walking along the coast of Portugal and Spain. Exploring the beauty and quaint towns along the way. Being a pilgrim, walking an ancient path, feeling the energy of the thousands who have traveled this path before. Whether it be a conscious spiritual pilgrimage or just an opportunity to get away and move at a slower pace for a while.
Walking, being present only to what is in front of you, quieting your mind, finding your peace within is the experience of the Camino.
The Camino De Santiago, a.k.a. the way of Saint James is a large network of ancient pilgrim routes stretching all across Europe culminating at the tomb of Saint James in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
The Camino Frances is the most traveled route and to do the entire way takes about 35 days of walking, it is 500 miles across Spain.
Arriving in Santiago is a magical experience you do not want to miss.
The Camino De Santiago - Portuguese Coastal Route will consist of 13 nights with 11 days walking with an average of 10 miles per day. The route is mostly flat and easy hiking, with the occasional gentle climbs and descents. It is a stunningly beautiful walk.
IMPORTANT: You can walk much less than the average of 10 miles per day if you’d like. We’ll have multiple stops each day for coffee and snacks (my favorite!) and opportunities to take taxis to the next stopping point or the next hotel where you can rest, explore or people watch.
We'll be a small group of no more than 24 people, the group naturally splits up into smaller groups walking together or alone. The Camino is very safe and supported by the local people, who are always willing and delighted to help with directions and advice!
Please note: The only rule about walking is to listen to your body and do what feels right, safe and find for you!
Book now - because this will fill up FAST, and there's limited space. Also, book your flights ASAP as prices are going up!
