Miraculous Healing Super Powers

Friday, November 13th, 2020

Anytime my identification with ego is challenged there’s an opportunity for me to have a healing and that’s what I’m interested it.

Let the challenges be gentle and let me see how helpful they are.

Right now, we all have an opportunity to contribute to world peace or to contribute to world upset. Our perspective, what we hold in our mind, and how walk in the world is affecting everyone.

When people are upset around us, we can take offense or we can answer the cry for Love.

When we extend compassion, we’re activating our miraculous healing super powers.

When we extend compassion, we’re fulfilling our purpose.

It’s not about whether people deserve our compassion.
If we don’t share the Love of Spirit, we atrophy and become malnourished.

When we can extend compassion, everyone wins.

When we cannot extend compassion, when we withhold the Love of God – we are the ones who miss out. This may be our one appointed time to be of service to a brother or a sister and we wouldn’t wish to miss it.

Life is delicate, and Love is strong.

We have super powers of miraculous healing and now is the time to use them!

The holidays are coming, and it’s an opportunity to put the past behind us and be the super hero of healing in our family. If this interests you, consider joining me on Saturday!

SATURDAY: Family Forgiveness – Free Workshop – come join me! Click here to get the details.

Great Crusade

Thursday, November 12th, 2020

This week, in Masterful Living class, I was reminded of this valuable teaching from Jesus in A Course in Miracles.

This is from the Complete and Annotated Edition of A Course in Miracles under Miracle Principle #26 (page 19):

“You now share my inability to tolerate lack of love in yourself and in everyone else, and must join the Great Crusade to correct it. The slogan for this Crusade is “Listen, learn, and do.”

This means:

Listen to my voice,
learn to undo the error, and
do something to correct it.

The first two are not enough. The real members of my party are active workers.

The power to work miracles belongs to you.

I will arrange the right opportunities for you to do them. But you must be ready and willing to do them, since you are already able to. Doing them will bring conviction in the ability.

I repeat, “You will see miracles through your hands through mine. Conviction really comes through accomplishment.

Remember that ability is the potential, achievement is its expression, and Atonement is the purpose.”

This is not the time to wait and see. Listen, learn and DO.

It’s important to take in what Jesus is telling us – the doing will bring conviction in our ability – and that’s reassuring.

Too many light workers don’t feel confident of their abilities – they don’t feel qualified to fulfill their life purpose. It’s because we’re still putting ourselves in charge, rather than Spirit.

If we’re coming from our hearts, following guidance and taking loving action without attachment we will be in service to God. And that is what qualifies us.

It’s also where our confidence comes from.

On Call for Spirit

Wednesday, November 11th, 2020

Right now, we’re “on call” for Spirit.

In the same way that a doctor might be “on call” in case of emergency, let’s be on call for Spirit.

Ready and available.

To accomplish this, let’s take extra time for self-care right now. That feels so important. I notice that many, many people in my life are going through stressful shifts and changes.

Let’s put extra attention on self-compassion and self-care so we can be available for Spirit.

Right now, people are challenged with illness, loss of life, feeling divided politically, feeling unloved and disrespected – so, one way we can be truly helpful is to make sure we’re “loved UP” all the time.

Being prayerFULL really helps too. Being prayed UP. Let’s pray before we make the phone call, get on the zoom meeting, leave the house or enter the building.

Let us be prepared to shine the Light of Love when it’s needed.

Because, it’s definitely what we’re here for – to be truly helpful – as needed.

And I’m so glad that we’re doing it together.

Having Humility

Tuesday, November 10th, 2020

Here’s an interesting observation:

After working with so many people as a spiritual counselor, as a spiritual leader and teacher, a minister, a practitioner and just as someone having a human experienced, I’ve noticed that it’s often the case that folks who feel completely unworthy of having a spiritual awakening are quite likely to have rapid spiritual growth.

One of the reasons is that they can get out of their heads and just surrender to doing a spiritual practice that works without judging it so much.

Folks who feel they’re spiritual know-it-alls sometimes don’t make much spiritual progress because they feel they already know so much.

Humility is a powerful factor in our journey of awakening.

We get to humility through surrender.

We can do that with ease and grace – OR –

We can be humiliated.

We get to choose which way we’ll go.

I chose humiliation.

I don’t recommend it, but it got the job done!

And for that, I’m eternally grateful.

I’m so GLAD and grateful to be experiencing this journey with you!

Let’s support our brothers and sisters on their awakening journey to find the way with ease and grace and no more humiliation.

Our willingness is the key!

Extending Love

Monday, November 9th, 2020

Spirit is always leading us to a greater expression of unity, Love, connection, oneness, even when it seems like we’re being led away.

That’s pure grace, active in our lives and in our awareness.

After this intense year and a half leading up to and through the US election, one thing is abundantly clear here in the United States of America: *

We’re still divided in what we value. There’s a strong appearance of sides and opposition. With the new shifts in the balance of power in the government, I sense that Spirit is forcing us to look at the pain of acting in a divisive way. It feels to me like we’re choosing to learn what comes from making anyone the enemy or the bad guy.

It doesn’t matter if it’s the president, a senator, a governor or a caravan, when we don’t recognize our brothers and sisters are one with us, we’re going to suffer and it’s our own choice, because it’s our decision to separate that causes the pain.

There is no other. There just isn’t.

We must change our view in order to have a new experience.

That’s what the civil rights movement taught us.
And yet, here we are, learning it again.

A Course in Miracles tells us so clearly, “Seek not to change the world, but to choose to change your mind about the world.” That’s our calling. That’s our divine destiny.

Let us be about our Divine Mother Father’s business now.

Let us focus on ending separation thinking through choosing to extend Love.

How I Healed my Nightmare

Sunday, November 8th, 2020

Have you ever lived in a house divided? I was blessed that my parents were always united even when they went through some difficult times, as most people do. There were many times when I was the one divided from everyone else in the family, feeling like I wanted to separate myself from the family.

I remember what it was like to feel that strong sense of separation from my loved ones even while I was living with them. I felt very angry about it and I let everyone know it.

I felt angry because I felt so threatened and so overwhelmed.

When I was a teenager there were many times when I would get VERY upset. I would become like a raging inferno of separation and all I wanted was to be hugged, held, loved, accepted, but I didn’t know that. At the time, I felt like I wanted to burn the house down and take everyone with me down in the fire.

Why did I feel so angry? It was all about control. It was all about not getting my way. Having to do other people’s will was an outrage to me even though I was a child. Being held accountable was unbearable. All of these things were ego threats.

To be honest, I can barely remember what I was thinking at that time, only that I felt this uncontrollable rage – and that it was humiliating to be so out of control. The only thing that ever really stopped it was exhaustion. I would physically exhaust myself.

So, I feel like I understand some of what some of the people in the USA might be feeling now. My feeling then, as it appears it is for some people now, was:

If I can’t get what I want, it’s like death. If I don’t get my way, it’s like I’m being viciously attacked. If I’m going to die, I’m taking everyone with me. That’s your punishment for not doing what I want. You don’t matter, only what I want matters. I have to take care of myself or I will be killed.

I really did feel that way.
It didn’t feel like a choice.
It felt like I was stuck inside a pattern I didn’t make and couldn’t get out of.

It was HORRIBLE for me.
It made me feel so out of control and I wanted to control everything, that was the problem. My core issue was needing to control everything and have it be my way.

Then, because I’d start judging everything around me that wasn’t to my liking as being wrong, bad, untenable, I wanted to tear it all down. It was an affront to me at every turn.

All of my judgments did what judgments always do, they increased my disconnect from Spirit, from Love, from anything that could restore my sanity.

It was a vicious cycle.
I had no idea how to get out of it.

As I got older, and had my own home, I began to feel more in control and that did help me stop having the intense arguments and meltdowns, but I would have them later with boyfriends.

It wasn’t until I realized that trying to control was one of the most basic issues I had. I had to hit a bottom where I could see so clearly that I was ruining my life and my relationships and then I could find the Love in my heart that is my strength and I could see the value in giving up that habit.

When I was trying to control everything, I wasn’t very good at receiving help because I needed to be in charge all the time. I thought I knew how to do everything best.

Now, so many years later, I’ve really learned the benefit of being vulnerable and getting the help of others. It sure wouldn’t work to be a spiritual teacher who wasn’t a good receiver. Plus, I have so many wonderful surprises and new adventures when I’m following the lead of other people! I LOVE that.

So many blessings have come to me because I stopped trying to control everything.

I’ve given UP the control – given it to my Higher Holy Spirit Self and the more fully I do that, the happier I am and the easier my life is.

I’ve learned that it takes a village to raise each one of us. We ALL need a lot of Love and support to do this well.

And yet many people, many, many of us do not have that Love and support. And folks will act out so badly, because they feel so hurt and deprived. Then they are hurtful to others and then they feel completely unworthy of Love and respect.

They don’t feel worthy of even the most basic kindness.
When they don’t feel worthy of kindness, they don’t attract it, won’t receive it, and can’t receive it.

That’s when the ego identification is SO intense – and that’s where I was. I worried that I was a fundamentally evil person. I was in survival mode.

And that’s why I’ve learned ways to help people who feel SO unworthy and separate from Spirit, because this has been MY journey – and I didn’t get it from a book.

I cannot believe that anyone of us is beyond hope. If we believe that, we don’t know the power of Love and the power of prayer. I do know those powers.

I know that Saul met Jesus on the road to Damascus and he had an experienced that changed him from Saul the persecutor of Christians to Paul the champion of Christianity. That can be anyone of us. Truly.

We must pray for the situations in our life that feel unhealable.

We must Partner UP with Spirit and put Spirit in charge and stop trying to control and evaluate how the healing goes.

We must be willing to change our minds – and to really do the work.

Walking the talk is a way of life. At first it seemed really hard to me, but I learned how much EASIER it makes every day. The problems I had in the past are gone. I haven’t felt that pain in decades.

I thought I was stuck in those patterns for the rest of my life.
Like the person who feels stuck in any difficult situation, I used to feel that it was just something I had to accept.

I’ve learned this:
Don’t accept a future you do not want
Don’t plan for a future you do not want
Don’t hold in your mind the inevitability of a future you do not want

What we think about, we bring about.

All healing happens at the level of the mind.

Let us become intolerant of mind-wandering.

I started out like a toddler running everywhere and knocking things over, but I grew up, and I learned to help others with real compassion. My nightmare became my blessing, and I hope, in some way, that it’s your blessing too.

Saying Yes to Divine Vision

Saturday, November 7th, 2020

I can remember many years ago a friend of mine said to me that it seemed as though things were easier for me than they were for her.

I don’t know if that’s true, but I do understand what she meant.

I feel as though I’ve gone through mini versions of many issues and I have worked through them – was it easier for me, or did I somehow realize that if I knew I could get through it, I did get through it easier?

I long ago recognized that something I really valued about my own personality is my willingness to hold to the vision I desired for myself and my life, REGARDLESS of whether or not I thought I had a chance to make it a reality.

I’ve learned the power of holding the vision and focusing on the vision.

I invite you to consider the vision of the highest and best in an important area of your life that concerns you.

Are you willing to hold that vision and disregard any temptations to entertain a future you do not want?

This is so important.  It’s so valuable.  It changes our life.

Be willing to give any idea you’ve been holding in your mind, that you cannot or you will not have the results you’d like.

Also, be willing to admit – is the thing you’d like to have happen a fantasy – is your fantasy some kind of false idol?  Which means, is the image in the fantasy a substitute for God?

Hold tight to the vision of highest and best.

Go cold turkey on the fantasy.

Give Spirit the heavy lifting – put Spirit in charge of bringing the vision to fruition.

No more fantasy.

Fantasy is like a drug – it’s a substitute for vision.

We can hold a vision of the highest and best in our life for ourselves and for the world.

This is important and good work – we do it together!

Compassionate Listening

Friday, November 6th, 2020

In my Spiritual Counseling Training Intensive, one of the things I demonstrate and teach is the healing power of compassionate listening. It’s extraordinary how much can be lifted, shifted and healed when we’re willing to set all judgments aside and listen with our heart.

This is one of the most helpful skills we can have and we can develop our ability to listen with compassion to a point that is truly extraordinary.

Why?

Because this IS what we’re designed to do and how we’re meant to live.

A Course in Miracles calls it “extension.”

When we listen with true compassion, we’re extending Love which is the only true healer there is.

We are being profoundly helpful when we offer compassion to our brothers and sisters.

Being able to listen with compassion to someone we completely disagree with is a level of spiritual maturity that we can attain. We can even be at Peace listening to someone we dislike. When we’re not judging, we can be at Peace.

Being able to have the willingness to listen with compassion is a great leap forward in consciousness.

This IS how we raise ourselves up out of the muck and mire of feeling separate.

During this time of intensity in density, let’s commit to a high degree of listening with compassion so that we can truly help heal the illusion of a divide between people in this world. This is our work to do – let’s get to it!

My Crucial 1st Step

Thursday, November 5th, 2020

Yesterday, with my Prayer Partners and in my Masterful Living class, we were talking about the election.  Of course we were, we were talking about it all over the world.

I’ll be honest, Tuesday night I felt concerned.  I had a sudden urge for ice cream, a little comfort food.  I asked myself what would I do if the election didn’t go the way I wished it would.

Emotionally and mentally, I needed to be able to see myself taking steps to recover from my disappointment if that happened.  I’m proactive, I’m not going to stay in disappointment, so I needed to know what would I do to move through it.

I recognize, I definitely have an attachment to the outcome of the election, and I am ACTIVELY releasing that, and I have come to the point where I can be at Peace no matter what.

In terms of what I would do, it’s my spiritual practice.  That’s my go to.

Without an effective spiritual practice my life would be so unpleasant.

Without my spiritual practice and my spiritual community, I would be going up and down like a roller coaster and back and forth a yo yo – that’s how I used to live.  Like I’m in a little boat being tossed about on a very big and unpredictable ocean.

I remember what it feels like to have my happiness tied to life’s ever-changing circumstances.

I’m never, EVER going back to living that way.

I’m sure that’s why Spirit gave me the mantra:  “walking the talk, and living the Love,” and an effective spiritual practice to go along with it.

Key to my practice is knowing, and constantly, consistently, affirming this:

I am calling forth the highest and best for myself.

I am choosing the most loving choices I can find.

I am aware that the highest and best for ANYONE is the highest and best for EVERYONE because we’re one with each other.

I may not like everything, but if I’m willing I can accept that somehow, and in some way, this is for my good and I’m going to receive it that way EVEN IF I don’t like it.

I no longer reject my good – I accept it.

Spirit is leading me and guiding me every day, all the way, to the highest and best, most loving choices and I AM sharing the benefits with everyone because I AM one with them!

If I don’t walk the talk throughout my day, I won’t have the Peace I have now.  I’ll be back to living off-balance and getting on and off the pain train.

I’ve learned that a certain amount of spiritual practice in the beginning of my day and at the end, to book end my day won’t cut it.

Of course, spiritual practice like that is really enjoyable and really helpful, and it’s what I do, but it’s not enough to give me the Peace I have with an effective spiritual practice that I use all day.

Walking the talk and living the Love is an all-day spiritual practice that I am IN throughout all days.

There’s an important first step to being able to really see the value of walking the talk and living the Love, and I made a video about it.  It’s part of a series I’ve made and you can get access to the whole series (my gift to you).

Seeing With Divine Sight

Wednesday, November 4th, 2020

One of the things we were talking about in Masterful Living class yesterday is how so many spiritual students will approach their entire spiritual journey as though they are trying to become more holy. They’re trying to eliminate their sinfulness.

The only problem is that they’re not sinners. None of us are.

No matter what we’ve done, or not done that ego pretends is a sin, we’re still not sinners.

It’s hard to believe in our innocence when lifetime after lifetime we’ve been indoctrinated as sinners. A Course in Miracles tells us that one of the most chaos inducing beliefs we can have is the one that has us believe that we’re sinners, but we’re not.

When we can see with Divine Vision, we’ll see that there is no sin.

There is no stain on our permanent record.

And, there’s no stain on ANYONE’S permanent record.

There is no punishment, but what Love does is it calls correct.

Love offers correction.

Another way to say that is that we experience our karma – which isn’t a punishment, ever. God does not punish. Our karma is neither punishment nor reward. Karma is, in many respects, a teaching.

When we make loving choices we learn through loving results and experiences.
When we make unloving choices we learn through pain.

Let us change our mind about punishment. Let us release any idea that someone should be punished for any reason whatsoever. Instead, let us call for their mind to be corrected.

After all, Spirit doesn’t punish, only the ego thoughts are of punishment.

Let’s put punishment behind us and choose Divine Vision instead.

This is our choice on the path of growth to spiritual maturity.

Sometimes we stumble and fall, but if we’re knocked down, we get up again. And again. And again and again and we don’t ever stop getting up.

I’m writing this before bed, long before the election results are well in, so I’m not commenting on that. I only encourage you to remember that nothing real can be threatened.

May truth be revealed and Love prevail.

Prep For Being A Miracle Worker

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020

Here in the USA, things are super intense.  We can all feel the intensity because of our election and wondering how it will be resolved.  People have such strong feelings and fears.  And this on top of a global pandemic.  And then there are so many other issues caused by the pandemic.  It’s a very intense time.

AND this is the time we wouldn’t wish to miss.

This is the time for which we have decided to incarnate at this time.

We are the chosen.  All beings are chosen to be the Light of the world, but we’re actually saying a big yes to it.

In Masterful Living class last night we were talking about Spirit being the source of all the good in our lives and not the things of this world.  Let’s accept that this is true and put Spirit in charge, really in charge, of our good.

Let’s open to receive all the good that is ours to receive – this will TRULY make the world a better place for ALL OF US to live in.

During this time of intensity, we are really needed to hold the form.

We hold the form of heaven breaking out all over.  We don’t hold a vision of hell on earth.  Our job, our mission, our life is about holding the form for the highest and best to unfold.

We can be vigilant only for God.  It might seem difficult to do this, but this is how we train our mind only to hold that which brings benefit and to let the past go.

We were born to be miracle workers.

Time to get to work.

We have what it takes!  Let’s put it to use!

Spiritual Activism

Monday, November 2nd, 2020

Let’s REALLY be the change we’d like to see in our family, in our neighborhood, in our workplace in our heart. For myself, the key has been to hold a vision of Love and to release all grievances and to put my attention on that – rather than trying to figure out what to do in the world of form.

I am a spiritual activist.

I work at the level of the mind. Like my teachers: Jesus, Gandhi, King, and St. Francis, I take inspired action, but I start with prayer, with partnering UP, with releasing the judgments and opinions that could cloud my vision.

Holding a vision for a peaceful world is no joke, it’s a life’s purpose.

There’s so much power in holding a vision. Just think how many billions of people on this plan know these words, who said them, why, and what it meant to the entire world:

“I have a dream …”

King had a vision. It’s the vision of Freedom ringing through our hearts, our minds, our nation and the world. Freedom from tyranny, injustice and prejudice. The Freedom to fully Love and accept our brothers and sisters.

When we’re trying to change the world through working only in the visible we will tire easily and accomplish much less than those who take inspired action.

Inspired action comes from our loving heart holding a vision of the highest and best for all.

If you are an American citizen, and you have not voted, please make a plan to vote now. It’s never been more important to take a stand for Love. Vote with your heart and you cannot go wrong. Vote for Love and with Love.

If you don’t know where to vote or drop your ballot off you can text POLLS to 30330 and get the answer!

Now is the time for us to fully commit to do what we came here for – hold the highest and best for EVERYONE.  Release all patterns of lack and attack and stand in the Light of Love.  This is our purpose.

Being truly helpful starts in the mind and ripples outward.  Our time is now!

Walking the Talk Training

Sunday, November 1st, 2020

Over the years, many people have told me that they really love the subtitle of my A Course in Miracles podcast which is: Walking the Talk and Living the Love. I get it.

Being consistent as a spiritual student, a spiritual practitioner of Love and Light really appeals, and for me it’s absolutely been the hardest thing to do. It has really been SO DIFFICULT at times. I felt like such an utter failure.

And that’s why I have loved sharing so much of my journey and what worked for me and what didn’t.

I’m making a video series about my experience of learning to walk the talk so that I could live the LOVE and I’m so happy to share it.

I’m releasing Video #1 in my Walking the Talk, Living the Love series today.

Angelic Assistance

Saturday, October 31st, 2020

I’m one of those people that believes that spiders and other insects are to be captured and released back to the wild.  When I find a spider in the house I put a glass over it and then capture it and put it outside.

Sometimes it can be tricky to capture an insect.  They can be fast and evasive.  Yesterday there was a rather large spider in the living room and it didn’t wish to be caught, even though, it was ready to get outside again.  Rather than struggle with it, I asked the angels for help.  Before you know it the spider presented itself again and was easy enough to catch and release.

Thank you, Angels!

One of the most common causes of difficulty in our lives is that folks struggle with going it alone.  So often, people don’t believe there is divine assistance so they’re not open to receiving any and then they get their wish – to do it themselves.

I’ve realized there’s no benefit to doing it themselves.  None at all.  Suffering isn’t beneficial in anyway whatsoever.  Struggling on your own is, in fact, wasteful.  All of heaven will help us when we’re willing to choose Love and to be of service to the Light.

When we think we’re on our own, then life seems to be against us.  When we’re willing to recognize that we’ve got God and the angels to support us, then life is much easier.

We do have to be willing to accept divine assistance in order to experience it.

Once we get the hang of it, life improves considerably!

Are you going it alone?  Would you ask the angels to help you without telling them how to help you?

Please share your experiences and let me know your experiences of asking for assistance and receiving it.

One thing to note is that some folks are attached to the idea that they are so unworthy that God has abandoned them and they’ll only allow more of that experience of feeling left out.  If you feel that’s your story, then please, give the story and all your belief in it to Spirit for healing.  Invite the angels to show you that you are loved and supported and they surely will.  Then, your challenge is to be receptive.

I’ve learned the INCREDIBLE power of being receptive to Spirit’s Love and assistance and I can’t say enough about how WORTHY we ALL are!

Let’s open to receive divine assistance now.

We’re entitled to miracles and now is the time to experience them!

Real Will Power

Friday, October 30th, 2020

I’m a healer – but only for me. I can’t heal anyone else, but I can facilitate other people having an AMAZING healing, if they’re willing.

Oh, and isn’t it a powerful healing when we’re finally willing and ready to recognize that the only limitations we have are the ones that we agree to? Yes, it is!! I love to see those limitations bite the dust!

The only grievances we have are the ones that we agree to.

The only way someone can take advantage of us is if we agree to it.

The only way we can feel limited is if we agree to limitations.

When I first began to realize these things, it felt like a dead weight on top of me because I didn’t know HOW to release the limiting thoughts.

I was stopped by my belief that it couldn’t be done because I didn’t know how to do it.

I was stopped by my belief that I was on my own, and if I didn’t know how to do it, I had no resources and so I had to accept that it couldn’t be done.

Fortunately, I had that little bit of willingness that Jesus talks about in A Course in Miracles. My little bit of willingness kept me praying. My prayers to have a healing were answered, in part, by my realization that I could Partner UP. I realized that limitations are really only in my thinking, not in my true reality.

I decided that it didn’t matter HOW the healing happened, I was calling forth a healing and I was accepting it. I gave the heavy lifting of figuring out the “how” to the Higher Holy Spirit Self. I knew I couldn’t see the solution as long as I was still thinking with the same thought system that created the “problem.”

My willingness to call forth and accept help from “above” was the thing that opened the door to my miraculous healing. I’ve had SO MUCH miraculous healing since then and I’ve shared it with others who are having miraculous healing and that’s what inspires me every single day.

Willingness is the REAL will power.

I am grateful that miraculous healing isn’t for special people. Everyone is entitled to miracles. Miracles are natural. We don’t have to figure out how, we allow.

There are no REAL limitations.

I am calling forth a miracle for us every day. Thank you for praying with me and calling forth a miracle today!

Spiritual Career

Thursday, October 29th, 2020

Over the years I’ve met many amazing and beautiful people who absolutely love spirituality.  It’s thrilling to them.  I feel the same way!  I absolutely LOVE spiritual principle and I Love being able to connect with like-minded souls and share what we’re learning.

Many of the folks I meet would like to be able to have a spiritual career, share what they’re learning with others and make that their career.

That’s what I did and I feel so blessed every day that I get to do what I LOVE every day.

I’ve also met a number of people who don’t have the confidence to follow their heart.  They study and study and study and study and prepare to have a spiritual career, but then they don’t seem to get off the ground with it.

I remember when I first started ministerial school, twenty years ago, they told us that the statistics were that only a few of us would actually end up having a career as a minister and most would not.

I’ve known a number of people who never really had the confidence to succeed although they had the talent AND the training.  Their lack of confidence was what prevented them from living their dream.

I’d like to do everything I can to keep that from happening to more people.  I’m interested in offering support for those who are inspired to answer the call.  With support we can eliminate the reasons for lack of confidence.  With training people will feel qualified.

For those who would like to follow their heart and have a successful spiritual career,  I’d like to support them in truly going all the way.

I know that the the Love of God can never fail.

Light always wins.  I also know that there are several keys to being able to be successful and not give up.

Right now, light workers are being called to step up and do what they’re designed to do – share the light!  Let’s do it together!

Love Never Fails

Wednesday, October 28th, 2020

Love never fails, and ego always fails.

If I could give you some knowledge, some insight, some healing awareness, it would be the awareness that you can never fail because you are Love and Love never fails. When we know who we REALLY are, and WHAT we really are, and WHOSE we really are, failure is impossible.

For me, the way that I have learned this is to place my faith and trust in Love. The way I have learned that Love never fails, that the Light of God can never fail, is to be in service to the Light – to live in service to the Light and it is through being that, living that, doing that, that I’ve come to know and understand that Love and Light cannot fail.

Now, I can see that the only failure there is the “failure to communicate” Love.

And yet, when it seems that we’ve failed to be loving, there is always learning and so Love still wins. That’s the power of Love in our lives.

What would you invest yourself in, if you knew you couldn’t fail?
Why entertain the idea of failure as a possibility?
Why plan for what you really don’t wish to experience?

BE the Love in whatever you choose to invest yourself in and you will not fail, you cannot fail.

My invitation to you today is to practice being of service to the Light through all that you do today.

It’s about being Love in our mind and shining that forth into all of our activities. People cannot fail to notice and be inspired too! BONUS! That’s more sharing and more extending.

Let us be excellent extenders of Love!

Let us rise and shine together!

Now more than ever, let’s be the change we’d like to see in the world!

Let us not entertain separation and divisiveness, let us see the master plan at work in all moments.

It’s such a good feeling to share the Love rather than to block it. It’s our spiritual destiny to rise and shine, to live without fear – let’s not delay – let’s go for it today!

Avoiding the Trickster

Friday, October 23rd, 2020

Our spiritual practice makes a difference for every being on this planet. When so many are suffering and it can seem like we don’t know how we can really be effective in relieving the pain of others, it’s so important to know that our spiritual practice of prayer and meditation brings tremendous benefit.

Having talked with so many spiritual students over the years, I’m aware that it’s common for people to put off their spiritual practice in favor of getting small errands and chores done. To our ego-identified self, we get a sense of accomplishment when we can tick off something from our to do list. However, that sense of satisfaction, meaning and purpose is short-lived.

It’s a trickster.

What really brings lasting benefit is our practice of patience, kindness, gentleness, compassion, and generosity. When we can be mindful all day, we’re bringing benefit to all. When we can learn to be patient with situations we used to be upset by, we’re bringing benefit to all.

When we feel worried or concerned about people we can see them in good health, happy, enjoying life, and prospering instead of entertaining negative fantasies about them.

This spiritual practice does take practice.

We can do it every day all day and get very good at it, thus transforming our life and the lives of our brothers and sisters. It’s so worth it!

Thank you for practicing with me today!

Today, with our effective spiritual practice, we avoid the trickster and bring benefit to all!

In November: Are you interested in Spiritual Counseling or just developing your relationship skills? You might be interested in my Spiritual Counseling Training Intensive from November 15 to 21st. If you have an interest, but you aren’t sure, you can book a FREE Exploratory Call with one of the Spiritual Counselors.

The Appeal of Hell

Tuesday, October 13th, 2020

Haven’t we all chosen hell when we didn’t have to?  Sometimes we do it to spite ourselves or someone else.  Sometimes we feel compelled and can’t resist.  It’s a crazy world and we can lose our minds in it.

I can remember actively choosing the very things that I knew would cause me harm.  Even staying up too late would be something completely unnecessary that would then have repercussions that I didn’t need.

I would get into an argument with someone and then go too far.

Then I’d feel guilty and ashamed and angry because I felt guilty and ashamed.

I’d want to blame it on someone else, but always knowing it was my choice, and I blew it.

There is a choice for hell.

Sometimes we make it.

I notice that I don’t do that anywhere in my life anymore, but I used to do it all over the place.  So, that’s the good news.

How did I do it?

Forgiveness works.

Doing the real spiritual work of interrupting the patterns, choosing Love, self-forgiveness, extending compassion and all of the things that I teach about.

I’m so glad to have found things that actually work, for real.

We can choose heaven.  We don’t have to choose hell.  We have choice.

We can choose Love and Peace instead of hell.

Transcending Hurtful Impulses

Sunday, August 23rd, 2020

Yesterday I had the 20-year reunion of my Science of Mind Practitioner class from Agape. We graduated in 2000 and we had about half of our class joining together on zoom – it was a blast to hear everyone sharing and catch up on our lives.

One of the things that I shared is that I feel how blessed we are – like many spiritual students, we’ve trained for many years to meet this moment we’re in right now. All of the work we’ve done to be spiritually prepared is helping us, our families, friends and communities, get through this time we’re in.

One of the things that’s coming clear to all of us is that if we’d like to be truly helpful in this world by living the Love, walking the talk and giving up the feeling of fear and constriction, then making higher vibrational choices is the thing that supports us most.

Many of us go through long periods, many, many years, of self-medication and self-sabotage before we become willing to make higher vibrational choices. Often we think that the spiritual path requires us to go cold turkey on our “bad” habits and that we must control our impulses and deprive ourselves, and I’ve felt that way, for sure.

If we view the path of healing as a path of deprivation, sublimation and regulation, it can feel very painful and here’s the most painful part: with that method of trying to control ourselves, we’re healing at SUCH a slow pace because we’re actually putting the ego in charge of our healing, rather than the Spirit. It’s just one of the many ways we keep playing small, and avoiding stepping into our connection with Spirit more fully.

I struggled for decades trying to manage and control my impulses ALL DAY LONG.

I had impulses to be mean and rude and unkind.

I had impulses to do many things too much:
eating, drinking, smoking, talking, gossiping, playing, exercising, and on and on.

More was always better because I was looking to medicate and sedate myself, to distract myself from what I was feeling.

It took me decades to realize that my feelings were the indicator of whether or not I was on the right track.

I wasn’t honoring my feelings, I was trying to push them down and NOT feel them. I didn’t know that learning to sit with my feelings was so self-loving and that being self-loving would lift my vibration and heal my life.

Love is what we ARE.
That’s why Love is the ONLY permanent healer.
Everything else is temporary.

We learn not to fan the fire of our upset, out of self-Love.

We can learn to let the judgments and opinions go. Judgments and opinions are our interpretations and if they’re upsetting to us they’re not correct, they’re not helpful, they’re not loving.

Fanning the fire of our upset is unkind. I learned this because I was upset so much of the time and I wanted everyone to validate me by joining me so we could all be upset together. I invested many years of my life in learning how pointless that is.

Upsetting other people was one of the most low vibrational choices I could make. It was “dragging people down with me.” And deep down, I knew it was just affirming my own feelings of “I’m bad and wrong, not worthy of Love.”

I often went into self-medication of fantasy as an escape from my painful feelings. I had so many low vibrational choices to either punish myself or escape from how I felt about myself. I didn’t know that I was digging a deeper low vibrational hole for myself. I was unhappy in the illusion, so I was trying to escape by going deeper into it through fantasy. It made me feel even more lost in time and space.

Finally, because of my prayers and my willingness, I began to discover that consistently looking for even a SLIGHTLY higher vibrational choice, I could find my way out of my own personal hell.

The slightly more loving choices I began to make, day after day, built up my increasing willingness. I began to be excited to look for the more loving and higher vibrational choices. It stopped feeling like a drag to “have” to be more loving. Instead of pushing myself, and berating myself into making more loving choices (just think of that! LOL!) I was noticing the feeling of the vibrational shift and I liked it! I was feeling SO MUCH better about myself.

My impulses to self-medicate were diminishing and I was really shifting.

I came to a point where I decided to go all-in for God.

One thing that helped me was learning to sense if what I was doing felt violent in any way. If it felt like it was being unkind in any way, that would be the vibration that would let me know, it’s an opportunity to make a higher vibrational choice.

I learned to ask for guidance.
Listen for the response.
Allow my Self to choose it. And allow Spirit to make it so.

Ask. Listen. Allow.

This is the time for us to focus on being truly helpful.
Our mind, focused on healing, is what helps all our brothers and sisters who are suffering so much. Our choices make a HUGE difference in this world.

SO much is possible for us – when we’re willing.
Each one of us has the potential to bring tremendous benefit – beyond anything we can imagine, because we share the same mind, and when one is lifted all are lifted.

If you’re ready to make a change, and you’d like some REAL support to make a LASTING change, TAKE ACTION! Change It UP!

Friday, July 31st, 2020

For a couple of years, I’ve not had a home of my own and it’s been a continuous adventure in releasing attachments and living in the flow – which is so healing for my mind. I’ve had long periods of “homelessness” and I stopped calling it that because people would write to me with concern and invite me to come and stay with them. There’s the thought that being homeless is a “bad” thing and while it can definitely be challenging, it can also be liberating!

My having been “on the road” and without a home base challenges some people. I have the same conversation over and over:

Someone asks, “Where do you live?”
I say, “I live wherever I am.”

“So, you live here?”
“I do, for this week, day month.”

“Where’s your home?”
“I don’t have a home.”

“But where’s your home base?”
“I don’t have a home base.”

“Well, where’s your stuff?”
“I can tell you where my stuff is, but why do you need to know where my stuff is?”

And then they usually say something like “I’m just trying to understand.” For a lot of people, it’s challenging for them to wrap their mind around – and I understand that. It’s not usual.

People might wander for a time, but not usually for years. And since people don’t usually wander for years, they have a home base.

They wonder why I would choose this way of living OR they think it’s exciting and wonderful.

I don’t feel like I chose it. I feel like it was guidance and I’m following along.

Moving around and being in different places and environments, traveling with a little or a lot of stuff is a constant practice of non-attachment.

I feel my mind healing so rapidly through this higher intensity of practicing non-attachment because It’s harder to settle into routines and to get attached to how things are. It’s definitely easier to stay in one place and know exactly where everything is.

I don’t enjoy packing and unpacking.
I do enjoy the spiritual healing and growth.

We can practice non-attachment wherever we are and it’s deeply healing.

I HIGHLY recommend it. It’s so helpful to notice each day where the attachments to routine are and to make the effort to relax the mind and let them go and try new things.

Experimenting is a wonderful spiritual practice of discovery!

I encourage you to pay attention to the “should” that still dominate your thinking. Examine the patterns of behavior that you have a strong attachment to. Look for your attachments to how you like things to be and how you don’t like them to be and be willing to just do things differently for a day, a week, a month. You’ll discover things you cannot possibly discover any other way.

And the bonus is, you’ll be giving yourself the opportunity to release more attachments more rapidly! Nice!

2nd MAJOR bonus is that not doing the same things in the same way in the same place all the time keeps you present in the moment.

Sleep on a different side of the bed.
Use a different toothpaste.
Go to bed and wake up at a different time.
Try something different for breakfast.
Take a different route to or from work.
Listen to a different kind of music.

If it feels really challenging then know that your healing awaits you! What a relief to let go of attachments! It’s absolutely liberating!

What attachments from your daily living do you notice that you could let go and experience a greater Freedom? Please share in the comments section!

Do you have the willingness to change it UP?

Together Forever

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020

Because we’re all part of God, we’re together forever. Eternally one with each other.

I find this awareness particularly helpful when there’s a great sense of loss and grief, and when we don’t feel connected to someone we dearly Love. I remind myself that I cannot possibly BE separate from my loved ones, I can only FEEL separate – and that feeling will pass.

One of the most beautiful aspects of our life in Spirit is that we’re not alone – ever.

We’re interconnected and interdependent. With each other. With Spirit. With Angels and all manner of helpful beings. And, whether we like it or not. Without a cooperative effort much of life would be unbearable and yet there are many times when I’ve felt momentarily resistant to being cooperative.

One of the primary ways I’ve experienced the ego identification is when I’ve felt that belligerence rise up within me and I’ve refused to cooperate. When I was younger, I felt it all the time. That haughty, resistant, argumentative attitude was one of the ways that I would reclaim my power when I felt a lack of power. I’d try to regain my power Now I know better.

Opening my heart to collaboration and cooperation is my power!

When we work together, we are so much stronger than when we work alone.

Working together we can form a collective intelligence that is far greater and more powerful than anything I could create alone. It can also be far more satisfying.

These days, I prefer to be a bridge builder and a collaborator. The blessings are enormous and I am grateful every day!

A powerful daily spiritual practice is to find one significant way you can cooperate more effectively with the people in your family, your workplace, school or community.

Look for the ways that you can be supportive, extending compassion and let those things replace the criticisms and complaints. This is a powerful spiritual practice that heals our mind of lack, limitation and separation.
By being willing to cooperate I build a bridge. As I walk across the bridge, I bring with me an offering of my heart. By a simple act such as this I make the world a more peaceful place and that’s being truly helpful.

It’s not so hard to fulfill your purpose when you know your purpose is simply to Love and be loved.

Being able to model this purpose is healing to all. In a time of intense divisiveness and seeming differences, being a peacemaker is a great skill that we can hone and demonstrate. I’m so grateful we can be helpful instead of helpless!

Vision of Relationship Healing

Tuesday, July 21st, 2020

In every relationship, there’s a vision of holiness that can be revealed.

When we give up on other people, we’re also giving up on ourselves.  And yet, when people are so disappointing and difficult, it’s so tempting to walk away from them.  Giving up, quitting, that’s the easy thing to do, in the short run.  In the long run, it will become a weight that’s not worth carrying.

So, what to do?  I get this question a lot.

Consider this:  We’re all one with each other.  And, we’re all eternal.  Therefore, it stands to reason that our relationships are eternal as well.  So, while we can certainly SEEM to walk away and end a relationship in this lifetime, it’s only temporary.

Why settle for a temporary solution that will only make things more challenging in the future?  Why build into your future a challenge you’ll have to deal with that will be fermenting the entire time between now and then?

How to deal with it in the present moment?  Well, you don’t have to keep talking with the person.  You don’t have to connect and relate with them in the visible world.  Seek not to change another person, but to change your mind about them.

Not many people are really willing to hold the vision of the highest and best in their difficult relationships.  It takes a lot more effort than it does to complain.

Complaining never helps.  Complaining makes you a crap magnet.  Compassion makes you a LOVE magnet.  Which would you rather be.

Hold the vision of a healed relationships and then let Spirit do the healing.  Sometimes this can be REALLY challenging.  And, it’s also a way to heal your mind.

If you give up on the relationship, you’re giving up on yourself.

Instead of giving up on the relationship, give the relationship UP to the Higher Holy Spirit Self.

Give up your needing, wanting, cravings and aversions about the relationship.  Give up all forms of attachment to the person and the way the relationship “should” be and you’ll have a healing in your heart – but you have to really mean it.

Be willing to hold a vision of healing without an attachment to how it looks.

Focus on how you’d like that relationship to feel – would you like it to feel loving, harmonious, playful, respectful, prosperous, beautiful and more?  Hold the vision of that, cultivate that feeling and give up how you think it should look.

It may take a great willingness, and it may take a while, but then it won’t come back and bite you on the behind and that’s great!  We have other things to do besides recovering from being bitten on the behind!

If you were freaking out, or in a rough place, would you wish for SOMEONE to hold the high watch for you?  Of course you would.  Be that person now!

Flowing With Spirit

Monday, July 20th, 2020

Yesterday, in our Sundays With Spirit service, in the healing meditation I was sharing about trusting Spirit and using the metaphor of God’s Love as a river that flows. We can flow with the river or we can fight it.

We can cling to the rocks and buffeted about or we can trust the river and go for the ride.

Then, I remembered that someone had recently reminded me of this passage from Illusions by Richard Bach:

Once there lived a village of creatures along the bottom of a great crystal river. The current of the river swept silently over them all — young and old, rich and poor, good and evil — the current going its own way, knowing only its own crystal self.

Each creature in its own manner clung tightly to the twigs and rocks of the river bottom, for clinging was their way of life, and resisting the current was what each had learned from birth.

But one creature said at last, “I am tired of clinging. Though I cannot see it with my eyes, I trust that the current knows where it is going.

I shall let go, and let it take me where it will. Clinging, I shall die of boredom.”

The other creatures laughed and said, “Fool! Let go, and that current you worship will throw you tumbled and smashed against the rocks, and you will die quicker than boredom!”

But the one heeded them not, and taking a breath did let go, and at once was tumbled and smashed by the current across the rocks.

Yet in time, as the creature refused to cling again, the current lifted him free from the bottom, and he was bruised and hurt no more.

And the creatures downstream, to whom he was a stranger, cried, “See a miracle! A creature like ourselves, yet he flies! See the messiah, come to save us all!”

And the one carried in the current said, “I am no more Messiah than you. The river delights to lift us free, if only we dare let go. Our true work is this voyage, this adventure.

But they cried the more, “Savior!” all the while clinging to the rocks, and when they looked again, he was gone, and they were left alone making legends of a savior.

The question is now, what rock are we clinging to?
Who are you looking to as our savior?

For myself, I’m letting go of rocks every day.

I feel it’s a big portion of my responsibility to choose Freedom.

Every choice I make for Freedom lifts us all and I know that. I don’t wish to be a bottom feeder or a rock clinger. I am interested in flowing in the river of Love. I don’t wish to drown there; I wish to flourish and thrive and demonstrate Spirit’s infinite Love and protection – how about you?

We Can Rise

Monday, July 6th, 2020

In my Masterful Living Course it’s common for folks to share about how difficult things were in their relationships before they had the tools of transformation. For many who start with me in my Finding Freedom Spiritual Bootcamp, they make a shift and they never go back. For me, most of my relationships just keep getting better and stronger. It’s a continuous healing and spiraling up, but I haven’t always felt that way. Just the opposite.

I used to spend much of my time in relationships affirming what I did NOT want, and what I did NOT like and drawing painful conclusions that I’d just keep affirming again and again.

I used to regularly consider the idea of never speaking to any of them again. That idea was on a loop in my head for decades. How did I get it out? That’s what I focused on sharing in my classes now. It’s what I share about every week in my podcast.

As A Course in Miracles tells us, our relationships are the very best tool we have for transforming our mind.

It does take a great willingness.
And it so much easier to do it with a group of like-minded souls.

I used to crash and burn so often.
I used to give up so easily.

When I think about it, it’s so crazy that I had the discipline to hold on to a grudge for decades, but not to fee myself from the suffering it caused.

I’d say “I forgive” but I didn’t really mean it because I’d hold onto the judgment and keep energizing it. What I really was HOPING for was that if I said, I FORGIVE, the pain would stop.

Now, I’m SO GRATEFUL, GRATEFUL, GRATEFUL, for my experience! Why?

Because I went so low, I can rise so high!

Now, when others are telling me about their challenges, I can really use what I’ve learned to help others rise out of the hole of helplessness that I used to feel.

Yes, we can RISE out of the hole.

We don’t have to climb or dig.
We can rise.

With great willingness we can be lifted and carried.

It’s all about NOT going it alone anymore.
Suffering in semi-silence, and feeling alone was my thing.

I really didn’t know where to go or what to do in order to rise up. I had to figure it out. I had to rely on Spirit, it just took me a very long time to be willing.

This is a time of ancient patterns coming up to the surface with intensity and healing is happening in our hearts and miracles are demonstrating everywhere. This is the reason why we’re here at this time. To do our own inner work, to let the past go and bring benefit to all humanity.

We have what it takes!

Spirit cannot and does not fail.

We only fail when we go alone, furthering the belief in separation.

As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, we succeed when we’re co-workers with God.

That’s how we rise up and find the better way.
It’s always there for us when we’re willing to see with the eyes of Love.
